You know what amazed me when I started learning about this guy named Jesus is that if He says who He says He is (Son of God), He could have come in to this world wearing the nicest clothes, rocking a golden crown, and expecting people to give Him praise and glory constantly; yet, instead of doing all of this, He was practically born in a barn and came to serve and love others! How amazing is that!?
Think about the best player on the team…Jesus was just that! He was the best player, yet, by how He loved and served others, He made His life about serving rather than any accolades He could receive in this world. Learning about Jesus changed my entire view of leadership and finally put a title on a leadership style that I knew worked: Servant Leadership.
